Belthius, Dan

Daniel passed away of liver cancer in November of 2010 in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Coscia-Belthius, who was also a Knight at Lynwood High. Danny is also survived by his three daughters: Daniella, Stacey and Donna, as well as six grandchildren: Ashely, Jonathyn, Paisley, Madison, Dannion and Sienna. He was well known in Lynwood and his daughters recalled how he loved to cruise his hot rod cars and raise a little havoc. His family misses him dearly.

Boniti, Dan
Dan was recently hospitalized and after only two weeks passed away in his sleep very peacefully on September 6, 2012. Dan had been single for over thirty years and is survived by his three children; two grandkids; his older brother Chuck; younger sister Dorothy and younger brother Mike. All of them were Lynwood graduates. ____________________________________________________

We just learned that Mike passed away March 15, 2007. He lived in Santa Ana.

Butch was a paratrooper and special forces in Viet Nam and lived in Lynwood until 2001. The only information we have is that Butch died in 2008 and is buried in Riverside.

According to Patricia O’Brien Prim, “Sandy passed away in 1989.  I believe it was breast cancer.”

Dan passed away due to prostate cancer in October 2005; it was a rare genetic form.  We were married 39 years, have two grown children, five grandchildren and now two great-grandchildren.  If he was living he would definitely attend. He had wonderful memories of high school and would love to reminisce and see all of you!  Blessings, Susie

Rodney Mulhearn reports: “I recall Jim Davis being killed just after high school. He was accidentally shot I believe by a twelve year old boy while shooting out at Lake Perris. Jim had just joined the marines after high school.

Mike Quick gave us the sad news that Tom passed away on Nov. 23, 2011, from stomach cancer. ___________________________________________________________

Fleming, Roger

Sharon, Roger’s wife of 41 years, informed us that Roger passed away April 11, 2005 from leukemia. He also had primary schlering cholangitis which required him to have a liver transplant which he did not receive. Roger battled hard to overcome these illnesses. He is survived by a daughter and a son and two granddaughters.

Don’s wife Joy gave us the sad news that he had passed away. “Don was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January of 2010 and passed away in July of the same year. We were married for 37 years and have three adult children and six grandchildren. He was very proud to have been a graduate of Lynwood HS.  He was a union sheet metal worker for 40 years.”
